This book ‘Heal Your Inner Child’ has helped me address emotional moments and health problems in new ways by understanding how my childhood has played out within me later in life.

I have at times addressed things and had thought that I was now comfortable with moments from my past but after ready Michelle Ruskin’s book I now understand how my emotional reactions and health are still affected by past trauma.

Beautifully written with an open heart and honesty, I felt like I was in conversation with the author.
It has opened my mind to new options for healing and improving my health.

A must read for anyone wanting to heal wounds and improve their health emotionally and physically.

I loved this book so much. I’ve read many books on self-healing, but this one truly stands out for its clarity, depth, and compassion.

From the very first chapter, Michelle creates a safe space for reflection and transformation. Her writing is gentle yet powerful—like a wise friend guiding you through the tender process of reconnecting with the parts of yourself that have long been buried or ignored.

I really enjoyed reading the chapters on how trauma affects the body from a Chinese Medicine perspective and the therapeutic practices that can support the healing process.

The exercises, affirmations, and reflections are accessible yet deeply effective and the guided meditations are truly beautiful. I loved it!!

This well written book offers an empowering and practical approach to emotional and trauma healing. The author integrates Chinese Medicine, somatic work, and modern psychology to bring more depth to inner child exploration and healing work. This is an empathetic and valuable guide for anyone who is keen to explore a holistic and deep approach to healing their inner child.

Compact and covers all the tools needed to heal childhood wounds that can impact our adult lives and make us unwell. Written in such an easy way, with practical tools, everyone should read this.

Many tensions and illnesses in our body can be addressed with yoga, tai chi, acupuncture and other methods to improve our energy flow, release tensions and improve the overall quality of daily life. It seems woo-woo sometimes but it can work!

This book resonated with me on a profound level. It articulates the reasons behind my feelings of stagnation, despite my efforts to address them. The integration of physical and mental aspects was particularly impactful, especially the discussions regarding how trauma resides within the body. It provided me with practical and straightforward methods to enhance my sense of connection and tranquility. This is certainly not your typical self-help book.
